Kids Irish Language Horse Jump T-Shirt
Léim means 'jump' as Gaeilge, making this the perfect t-shirt for any young horse lover or supporter of the Irish language.
I was inspired by the Irish language and Ireland's rich equine heritage of horse racing, horse jumping, eventing, dressage, hunt chase. I hand print my original design onto each ethically produced tee in my Kildare studio. My new range of baby pink t-shirts are also organic.
Kids t-shirts are available in a range of sizes: ages 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 year old in blue, purple or organic pink. Blue and Purple are slightly heavier cotton (190gm). My new pink organic tees are a slimmer and longer fit.
- 100% semi-combed Ringspun cotton
- Reinforcing tape on neck
- Digitised hand draw calligraphy design by Angelina Foster.
- Handprinted in Ireland
- Packaged in recycled paper with story of design
- Printed on Fair Wear Foundation tees
Each t-shirt arrives with a story on its packaging which reads:
The story of the horse in Ireland is almost as old as Éire herself. Léim means jump as Gaeilge. Horses have always been a part of our Irish heritage & culture. Growing up in Kildare, the thoroughbred county, horses have hugely influenced my drawing. I also love the gold metalwork designs of ancient Ireland and designed my horse to include a sense of the prehistoric but with a modern twist. With this piece, Léim is represented with modern typography in a fresh, colourful style. Angelina’s Art Ventures journey into Celtic art is evolving with every new design I produce. The Irish language is one of the oldest languages in the world, I take this expressive heritage and style it as contemporary, progressive and fun.
