Irish Language Feminist T-Shirt. Inghinidhe na hÉireann - meaning Daughters of Ireland.
Inghinidhe na hÉireann was founded by Maude Gonne in 1900. This design is dedicated to their part in the Celtic revival of language, folklore, poetry and Art, and the events which led to Easter 1916 Rising. Early 20th Century Ireland had a vibrant women’s equality movement, cemented by the roles women assumed in 1916 and subsequent years.
